This is for the upgrade from SnowBlossomClient <1.5.0 to SnowBlossomClient 1.5.0 or above.

In this update, the [[ConfigOption/key_mode|key_mode] default switches from "standard" to "seed".

Short Version

Do nothing. Everything is fine.

Longer Version

  • Run new SnowBlossomClient
  • It should report that it is creating a seed
  • Do a backup of your wallet path or do a SnowBlossomClient export and backup the saved json export file.
  • After that, you can restore that backup and have all the keys generated since the switch to seed, however, your wallet will still contain some old keys that are not from the seed so you need those backup files.
